About Gohan Buffet
Located at 2205 Pleasant Hill Rd Ste 100, Duluth, GA 30096, Gohan Buffet operates as a chinese buffet serving Duluth in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Gohan Buffet at (678) 691-6806; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, gohanbuffetusa.com.

Duluth is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Duluth is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We had high expectations going in. The photos and other reviews made it look great, and the atmosphere didn't disappoint. The space is nice, and the buffet offers an impressive range of seafood, hot and cold dishes, dessert, and drinks. Unfortunately, the food quality didn't hold up. Our first bite was cooked oysters, which weren't fresh and had a fishy taste. The raw oysters were inconsistent too. The first one was stinky, though the second was fine. The tuna sashimi was also fishy, which put us off trying the other raw sushi options. The eel sushi was good though. Lamb chops started out good but turned cold and dry after the first few, and we noticed flies around the food. Not sanitary at all. I'd strongly suggest covers over the food stations. The lobster, snow crab, and blue crab were what we were most excited to try, and they were good for the most part, but the quality was also inconsistent. A couple pieces tasted off and were served cold. The boba was overly sweet and didnβt taste like it was made with real tea and traditional tapioca. The bottled iced teas and sparkling water were a better option. Dessert was solid, and the coconut shrimp and other hot dishes we tried w

I arrived at the buffet at 4:38 p.m. and stood in line to get crab legs. The person serving them placed two clusters on my plateβeach with only a claw and a leg. He looked at me like I was asking for a million dollars!! I had to ask for another serving, and the experience was already unpleasant. I sat down, and my Pepsi was already at the table. About 25 minutes later, my dirty plates and empty glass were still sitting in front of me. The reason I took a picture when I sat down was because I intended to post my food on Facebook. Throughout my visit, the servers looked at me as if I didn't belong. I was never asked if I wanted a refill. Meanwhile, the Asian family seated at the table in front of me continuously had their water refilled and their plates cleared. The Asian family seated behind me received the same level of service. Eventually, I was asked if I was finished because I had been sitting there for a while, and they were trying to give me my checkout receipt to pay.I was thirsty and asked for a refill because my mouth was dry after eating salty seafood. The server looked at my cup and brought me water instead. π€π I was made to feel like I didn't belong. I was dressed i

We absolutely love Gohan Buffet and come here every month! The food is always fresh, the selection is incredible, and you truly get so much value for the price. They have everything from fresh sushi and sashimi to raw oysters, Dungeness crab, seafood boil, dim sum, galbi, giant bowls of pho, boba tea, and so much more. Thereβs something for everyone! A special shoutout to Noi, who took amazing care of our family. She was incredibly attentive, quick, and always made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. She made us feel so well taken care of and made our dining experience even better. We always look forward to coming back!

The wait was a bit long but so worth it. Inside was spacious and the ambience was lovely with music playing. The food was delicious. My favorite were the bbq pork ribs, the lamb chops and pork belly. Everything was seasoned and so tender. Shout out to our server Lucy. She was so very jovial and attentive. She kept our table cleared and the drinks coming. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food choice especially for meat and seafood lovers! All special drinks are included in the buffets as well. Super impressive!! Shirley is the best server. Great work ethic with a beautiful smile. She always keeps our table clean and asks whether we need anything else. Love this restaurant! If I visit Atlanta again, I sure will dine here again. Strongly recommend this place.
